VITAL is a BARDA Accelerator Network (BAN) Hub supporting the development and acceleration of next-generation therapeutic and vaccine platforms and technologies to promote health security. VITAL is led by Start2 Group in collaboration with partners Advise Connect Inspire (ACI) and BioLabs.

Start2 Group is a global startup accelerator with a specific focus on advancing biotech and healthtech innovation through the Life Sciences Competence Center. Start2 operates in key markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, shaping the future of biotech innovation globally.

ACI accelerates international life science startups by providing individualized high-level strategic guidance, tactical, and operational assistance, and fundraising support.

BioLabs provides a comprehensive innovation support platform that offers access to fully-equipped co-working laboratory facilities, programming, and connections to a global network of collaborators & capital partners.

Established by the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), part of the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the BARDA Accelerator Network (BAN) fosters the growth of health security innovation ecosystems globally and accelerates the development and commercialization of next-generation health security solutions.
